Sunday July the 17th at 7.30 pm: the first concert at Il Paradiso di Frassina in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto

The first concert at Il Paradiso di Frassina in Montalcino, in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto, a unique experience!

What a better place for a concert of classical music than Il Paradiso di Frassina in Montalcino? At Il Paradiso di Frassina, well known as the Vineyard of Mozart, wine and Mozart’s music are inseparable.

concerto al Paradiso di Frassina

The Vineyard of Mozart is the realization of the dream of a courageous man, who, in the seventies, challenged the conventionalism of a territory that was not open to innovation. Carlo Cignozzi believes in music as a therapy not only for humans but also for plants and thus he realized his project of vine music therapy in the land of Brunello.

The melodious music of the Viennese composer is spread by Bose loudspeakers throughout the vineyard and it constantly accompanies the growth of the vines. In this beautiful setting and perfect natural theater, Mozart’s music cheers the mind and the spirit.

Precisely for this reason we are delighted to invite you to the first concert at the Paradiso di Frassina, in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto: a network that connects young musicians and residences, encouraging a circular economy and enhancing meetings and exchanges between different cultural realities.

On Sunday 17 July, at 7:30 pm, the Quartetto Miral , a young Bolognese ensemble, will offer a concert at the Paradiso di Frassina in Montalcino. The concert is free and open to the public, but a reservation is required.

Visita alla Vigna di Mozart

Before the concert, you can enjoy the unique experience of a guided tour of the Mozart’s Vineyard: surrounded by the harmonies of the famous Viennese composer you will walk along the Sangiovese Grosso vineyards, the grape that will become the prized Brunello di Montalcino wine.

We will explain the studies and the effects of sound waves on plants and after a walk along the vineyards, the visit will continue in the ancient cellars, where the wine is aged in French oak barrels, concluding with the tasting of three of our wines: Brunello di Montalcino Moz Art Wine; Rosso di Montalcino Gea; Maremma Toscana Red 12 Grapes.

The tasting, combined with a small snack based on Tuscan cold cuts, pecorino cheese, and bruschetta will cost 30 euros per person.
